The seminar emphasis is on practical precautions that people can take to reduce their ability to violent assault. The program is suited to both men and women and covers the home, situations in cars, parking lots and of course the streets. This is very serious information presented in a humorous manner.
While we discourage people from carrying guns, we do discuss effective alternatives including street moves and non lethal weapons which will allow the potential victim to escape without doing permanent damage to the assailant. Because this is a personal safety we do introduce and train the audience in the use of a device called the Protector™. It is a legal, non toxic, non lethal spray that will disable one or more assailants for 15-30 minutes. There is absolutely no obligation.
• Seminar time @ 30 minutes
• Where Can The Seminars Be Held?
All seminars are given on location at the company. Most companies utilize a training room, conference or lunch room if available. Really any location where people can be seated reasonably comfortable. We have held seminars in open offices to over 325 employees at one time.
• When Can The Seminars Be Scheduled?
On the most convenient day of the week and time of the day from the company's standpoint. It is normal for us to do a series of seminars back to back throughout the day, perhaps two in the morning and two in the afternoon. In this way staff and employees have the opportunity of attending one or other of the sessions without too much interruption to the company routine.
• What Material Is Covered In The Seminar?
The emphasis is in practical precautions people can take to reduce their ability to violent crime and the alternatives available should a person become the victim of a violent assault. The program is suited for both men and women and covers the home situations in cars and, of course, on the streets.
• Why Should Your Company Make This Program Available?
Firstly, because it will benefit the employees. Secondly, it will show employees the company is concerned for their personal safety. From the company's view, it could also help to avoid an incident on the premises or during employees paid time that could prove embarrassing to the company.
• Can This Program Be Provided For My Church, Civic Club Or Sorority?
We will try to provide a seminar at any time, at any location, providing you have a minimum of 25 adults present.
Give us a call. We’ll be happy to answer your questions and schedule a free seminar to meet your specific needs. We specialize in making Program Directors look good!
